Designed Instruction is committed to providing the highest quality services at all times to its clients, customers, and Web site patrons. The company employs full time, part time, and consultant staff on a project basis. Though we are not presently hiring additional full time staff, we regularly accept and review prospective consultant and production staff on an ongoing basis. Compensation for all positions and work performed is based on qualifications and merit. Should you be interested and qualified for consideration, we welcome your inquiry. Education Development Consultants
Our education consultants participate in a variety of education materials development projects that Designed Instruction provides on a contract basis for external clients, as well as certain resource and product-line tasks proprietary to our company. Consultants perform work locally, and as members of various collaborative project teams from a number of locations around the country. Qualified consultants are certified to teach, have at least 3 years of teaching experience, understand the classroom environment, current issues of importance in education, and learning theory. A deep and thorough understanding of education standards is a necessity, as well as the ability to address those standards in a practical, coherent, and research-based manner in materials intended for classroom use. The ability to articulate ideas, procedures, philosophies, and thoughts both orally and in writing is necessary, in individual or in large-audience presentation arrangements. Some limited travel may be required. Designed Instruction utilizes ubiquitous but modern technologies both in production and in collaboration for development and production, and therefore qualified consultants must be skilled and comfortable with technology in general (Internet, e-mail, downloads, plug-ins, etc.) as well as highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Production Support Staff
At Designed Instruction, our production tasks utilize numerous skills that require a background in education, such as copy editing and translation, and those that do not require a background in education, such as document formatting, page layout, data entry, graphics and/or multimedia, content area research, and secretarial assistance. An interest in education and issues pertaining to education is a must, and a background or experience in education is a plus. The ability to articulate ideas, procedures, and thoughts both orally and in writing is necessary. Designed Instruction utilizes ubiquitous but modern technologies both in production and in collaboration for development and production, and therefore qualified production staff must be skilled and comfortable with technology in general (Internet, e-mail, downloads, plug-ins, etc.) as well as highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. As a general rule, all hires at Designed Instruction must have a full 4-year degree from an accredited college or university
